Iranian Handmade Rugs
The rugs of this collection are woven from the highest grade of 100% naturali silk, exhibiting exceptional and unparalleled finesse, with a very high knot count and density. The weave density of the rugs in this collection ranges from 60 to 85 knots per square inch. These rugs are predominantly woven in Qom, Khorasan, IMaragheh, or Zanjan. All-silk rugs boast a wide variety of designs, but typically fall into one of the following seven main groups. Although some rugs have composite designs, meaning they feature combined designs using patterns from two or three groups, they can generally be classified into one of the seven main groups. Rugs from each of these seven groups are suitable for distinct and diverse interior decorations.
Medallion Corner Design

Featuring a large circular, oval, or flower-shaped motif in the center of the rug, called Toranj, and four similar motifs in the corners called Lachak. These rugs are named based on the shape and size of the Toranj and Lachak, as well as the design of the rug’s field, which can be plain or patterned. Some of the most famous designs of Lachak Toranj include “Golriz”, “Moharramat”, “Golmahv”, “Hendesi”, and “Goldani”.
