Kilim Collection

Kilim is a pile-less handwoven rug produced by one of several flatweaving techniques. The majority of kilim rugs are woven in Ardabil, Semnan, Zanjan, and Kurdistan. Suzani and Double-Sided kilims are two main flat woven rugs. In terms of thickness and weight, Double-Sided kilim is less thick than Suzani, and correspondingly lighter in weight. In terms of design, Suzani kilim includes various im-pressive designs such as “frame alike”, “flural” and “animal”, however, Double-Sided kilim mostly fea-tures “geometric” designs.
